My driver told me it's easy to drive in India - all you need is - Good Breaks, A Good Horn, and Good Luck -

I arrived at Delhi Airport when the victorius boxing team from the Commonwealth games arrived home .

The welcome brigade was quite something - garlands., drums , dancers, noise-makers, papparazi, and then it was also the start of the wedding season .

Every spare piece of land, unused warehouses, parking lots cheek by jowl, had elaborate decorations for the 35,000 weddings taking place that day . The traffic while bad any day of the year was at it's worst. Getting to my overnight airport hotel gave me just three hours of sleep before leaving for the next stop of Jabalpur.

Getting around Delhi was akin to my childhood love of Luna Park's Bumper Cars, only the stakes were higher. There are no lanes, it's first come first served, folded wing mirrors meant a better chance to be first and fastest through the tiniest space. I started counting how many cars had lost their wing mirrors altogether and soon gave up - the numbers were too high.
Indian Auto-Rickshaw's mixed with bicyle rickshaws, with goats, dogs, camels, cows, buffalos, bulls, pedestrians, peddlars and even a bull fight.
