Years of military rule have made their mark on this old city. The old colonial buildings are charming and filled with character but I wonder how long they will remain that way as shrubs and trees grow from various crevices and roof tops. ... and who's ever seen such an empty post office?
By the way only 35% of the country currently has electricity with those that do have it, suffering from frequent brownouts.
