Built in 1973 to resemble a 400 year old mediterranean village, it's hard to think one is actually on a caribbean island. This village overlooks the Chavon river and the Dye Fore golf course. There is even a 5,000 seat amphitheatre where local and foreign entertainers come. The village if filled with artisan shops, museums , craft stores, boulangeries, fashion boutiques and even Parsons school of design has a branch here.
