Security throughout India was high. Each vehicle arriving at the hotels , monuments, palaces had their undercarriage checked. Each pocket book, briefcase , suitcase was xrayed before being allowed into the hotels and each person scanned.
As a contrast, once past such security , flowers leis, ice cold clothes, refreshing drinks and a welcome namaste are the norm.
