We flew Jodhpur to Jaipur on air India -

As one voice, 20 people delcared the short flight one of the best, if for no other reason than the teaser introduction to Bollywoods movie '3 Idiots' kept each one of capitvated and then we had to disembark the plane before it was finished.

Bollywoood held our attention and praise to such high esteem our hosts presented this CD as a parting gift. ...

Flying home on Swiss from Zurich to Kennedy the very same movie was part of the 22 options - ( along with audio books, TV documentaries and numerous games ) - I resisted watching the end , preferring to watch the whole movie with Bill -

Rambaugh Palace Site Inspection

Entertainment by the most famous dancer in India as we were hosted by the Maharaja of Jaipur at his family palace.

When a former Maharaja was invited to England to meet 'Empress' Queen Victoria, he couldn't travel without his sacred water from the Ganges so traveled with two of these 6 foot pure silver urns made specifically for the occasion. The largest and heaviest water jugs in the world.

A large portion of the palace is open to the public as a museum, including photos of Princess Diana and Bill Clinton - too early to see Michelle and President Obamas photos on display!

An incredible day! We left the hotel early knowing there would be breakfast after an elephant safari; true - but the real highlights were yet to surface.

Breakfast started with us feeding bananas to the elephants who then took off in Royal style through the hills of Jaipur to a polo field with Scottish bagpipes of the Jaipur Terriers heralding our arrival .

Upon arrival the most amazing breakfast spread was laid out for us - lavish selections in an incredible setting .

Team Sujan luxury hotels versus Devi resorts started the first chukka - quickly followed by 'us' - The select tour operators of the United States.
