मोरे ओल्ड डेल्ही - Old Delhi

कुतब मीनार - बिल्ट इन ११९३ - १३६८ अच्तुअल्ली इन न्यू डेल्ही बुत ऑफ़ ओल्ड कोन्स्त्रुक्तिओन -

Each tiny home/shop of Old Delhi is a miniature factory - There's the paper district, the shoe district, the metal district, the fabric district.

Qutab Minar - commenced in 1193 - finished in 1368 .
मोरे पिद्गेओंस..प्रेपरातिओं ऑफ़ local लंच -

ऍम एन्जोयिंग स्प्रेअडिंग माय विंग एंड टाइपिंग इन हिन्दू - Street food lunch preparation.

थे ग्रेअतेस्त दिवेर्सिटी ऑफ़ इंडिया मुस्त सुरेली बे इन थे थे शीर साइज़ ऑफ़ नुम्बेर्स।
The biggest surprise in India must surely be in the sheer size of numbers of everything. .

Jodphur to Jaipur

While in Jaipur I 'm using a DSL connection to the web - and for whatever reason it refuses to let me download pictures to the web - so hang on in there - hopefull next stop tonight at Jodphur will give me better luck .
Went for early morning swim today while the parrots sang morning prayers - now for a site inspection of our wonderful hotel The Oberoi Rajvilas, then to the airport. One of the biggest surprises is the birdlife here. Prolific birding - Maybe I'll have time to list all I've seen while on the flight.

Delhi to Jaipur

It's been a busy three days. Gridlock traffic jams, bullfght in the middle of the road, pidgeon racing, dinners with directors of the Museum of Modern Art, wildlife photographers and members of the Royal family. Even particpated in an elephant polo match with the highlight of visting the Taj Mahal in the midst of everything.

Tiger # 3

....and now for photos of my tigress.... and my batteries were very low as I had taken so many shots of the previous .

Second Tiger Sighting

After a bush-breakfast we heard that a tiger had been spotted in a certain area of the park so took off - It reminded be of African game - seeing the Backsides of Africa. This tiger kept walking down the road, with four vehicles in hot persuit.

Searching for Tigers.

You need to look real hard for the stripes - This shows just how hard it is to see tiger - the elephant trackers find them and then transport visitors to the hiding spot.

Mist at first light

Park entrance

So the first morning - we set out at first light in search of my very first tiger.. The park entrance was still closed, but in a few moments it opened and a Duanne a Park Ranger joined us.
